Gotta love the evil ventriloquist’s dummy motif. Pretty sure this one predates the Twilight Zone episode.
Ziff-Davis carried over their comic book cover style from the pulps they published at the time, Amazing Stories and Fantastic Adventures. The stories are pretty standard 1950’s horror/sci-fi fare, but the painted covers were pretty unique for the day. I’d have to say issue #2 is the pick of the litter.
